WesternXposure, part of the Adventure Tours Australia Group, received top honours last night at the annual Golden Backpack Awards.
The Golden Backpacks are Australia and New Zealand's only dedicated awards program for the independent travel sector and all awards are voted for by backpackers themselves.
The Adventure Tours Australia Group and WesternXposure were nominated in a number of categories and were honoured to receive the award for Best Western Australia Tour/Activity for the 10 Day Perth to Broome tour.
2012 is the third consecutive year that WesternXposure has received this prestigious award.
Adventure Tours Australia's Group Sales Manager David Thomson (Thommo) and New South Wales and Queensland Sales Manager Steve Wright proudly accepted the award on behalf of the whole team at WesternXposure and Adventure Tours.
"Congratulations to the Western X guides, operations staff and to our inside and outside sales teams", Thommo said.
"In fact, congratulations to all of our teams."
