Kakadu tours return to normal.

Kakadu tours return to normal with the opening of Jim Jim Falls, Twin Falls and Maguk.

Adventure Tours Australia’s Top End tours have returned to their standard itineraries, following the opening of three Kakadu National Park favourites – Jim Jim Falls, Twin Falls and Maguk (Barramundi Falls). The falls were closed while national park rangers conduct their yearly crocodile surveys of the region to make sure no saltwater crocodiles have moved in to areas accessed by the public. Accessibility was also affected by heavy rains that damaged 4WD tracks, roads and the Jim Jim Creek crossing, but these have all now been repaired.Jim Jim Falls opened three weeks ago, while Twin Falls and Maguk opened last week.“Around 30 of our tours include visits to at least one of these amazing waterfalls, so it’s great news that we’re once again able to share these fantastic destinations with our passengers,” Adventure Tours Australia Group Sales Director Greg Zammit says. For more information, contact Adventure Tours Australia on 1800 068 886.
